At Monfefo, we take pride in making the best tasting, highest quality organic ginger and turmeric shots on the market. We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our production team and help us do just that. Specifically, you will be working in our state-of-the-art factory space in Brooklyn and involved in all aspects of making our products from prep & cleaning of raw ingredients, to juicing and mixing, and finally bottling.

You will be part of a small, but highly motivated, passionate, and hardworking team. We make great products and have a lot of fun doing it. Not only will you learn best practices for production and food safety, but you'll have the opportunity to learn about food, health and running a small business as well. Lastly, Monfefo is a growing company and that means every job comes with the opportunity to grow your role within our business. 

Responsibilities:

Candidates will be selected based on their experience and ability. Candidates will be responsible for the preparation, production, cleaning, and related duties in one or more of our daily production assignment such as:

• Fresh produce processing (sort/break/wash/process/store)
• Juice bottling (stack/clean/fill/cap/store)
• Basic operation of machinery 

We are looking for a team member that has the following traits: 

• Reliable, responsible, respectable, professional, friendly and timely
• Good hygiene and tidy
• Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Able to stand for most of the shift
• Enjoys working with their hands
• Strong attention to details
• Can lift items from 20 - 60 lbs

If you got it, you got it. We are looking for these desired qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in commercial kitchen 
• Knowledge in Food Safety
• Speaks conversational English
