We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking good quality, healthy meals two days a week for 10 to 14 members of our company (owners and employees).
Required Duties:
- Each meal will have a fresh salad, main dish, freshly prepared soup, side vegetable.
- Meal preparation including menu and grocery list planning.
- Cooking for a variety of dietary accommodations.
- Cleaning up work area when finished with lunch service including hand-washing pots and pans, loading the dishwasher, and wiping down counters and table.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge & ability to cook a variety of cuisines for special dietary restrictions such as allergies, gluten-free and vegan diets.
- Ability to plan and prepare complete meals, with flexibility, that fit various client’s needs.
- Follow all food handling, safety, and health department standards.
- Be friendly and well-communicated.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Have internet access.
- Good mental and physical health.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to move continuously during work hours.
Schedule: 2 days a week (Mon. – Fri.) with potential for additional days when we need you. 5 to 6 hours per day (not an 8 hour day), which typically runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break. There is flexibility in there depending on how fast/slow the chef works.
Hourly Pay Range: $22 to $25 per hour
