Job description Greene Grape Wine & Spirits is seeking a sales associate for 20-30 hours per week.

At Greene Grape Wine & Spirits, one of the most dynamic shops in Brooklyn, we sell wine from small producers, curated for quality, and we care about what goes into each and every bottle on the shelf. To put it simply, we only sell wines made with integrity, skill, and pride. This is a great position for someone studying wine or with a strong interest in wine and spirits, and a desire to work hard in a great shop.

Our ideal candidate:

• Loves wine and spirits, and learning about wine and spirits (formal wine study is a plus, but not required)
• Is a reliable and supportive team member
• The ability to type and use a computer (POS system, Google Docs, MS Office).
• The ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Can work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
• Is a mature, self-starter, and hard worker with a strong sense of professionalism (hospitality background is also a plus)
• We are a small but growing company, where your good performance could lead to growth opportunities.
