This is a true working farm that cultivates some 30 acres of land on an expansive 230 acre property. It is home to a cafe, pizzeria, brewery, vineyard, and general store. Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepares quality meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients with consistency and focus.
- Adheres to ServSafe food code and assists chefs with educating new team members about proper sanitation and kitchen hygiene.
- Assists Chef and Sous Chef with ordering, inventory management
- Coordinates daily food supply inventory for café—submits order to Chef or Sous Chef.
- Assists with receipt of deliveries.
- Maintains cleanliness, care, and organization of equipment, food storage, and work areas at all times—setting an example for all cooks/interns alike.
- Assists with the execution of canning and pizza operations.
- Oversees café operations and supervises kitchen staff in the absence of the Chef or Sous Chef.

Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 2-years professional restaurant experience
- Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- ServeSafe Certification required (can be provided while employed by PHF)
