Company description Pond Hill Farm is a family owned & operated agro-tourism destination located on the scenic Tunnel of Trees, north of Harbor Springs, Michigan. 

This is a true working farm that cultivates some 30 acres of land on an expansive 230 acre property. It is home to a cafe, pizzeria, brewery, vineyard, and general store. Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares quality meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients with consistency and focus.
  • Adheres to ServSafe food code and assists chefs with educating new team members about proper sanitation and kitchen hygiene.
  • Assists Chef and Sous Chef with ordering, inventory management
  • Coordinates daily food supply inventory for café—submits order to Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Assists with receipt of deliveries.
  • Maintains cleanliness, care, and organization of equipment, food storage, and work areas at all times—setting an example for all cooks/interns alike.
  • Assists with the execution of canning and pizza operations.
  • Oversees café operations and supervises kitchen staff in the absence of the Chef or Sous Chef.
