Temporary Operations Coordinator Boston University Food & Wine

We are accepting positions for a temporary, five-month position during a full-time employee’s maternity leave. The position will start in November 2021 and is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of Programs in Food & Wine. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary administrator for wine studies program (including instructor support, overseeing class registration, working with Information Services and Technology to generate and oversee accounts for non-credit student, respond to student inquiries, oversee wine sample distribution, produce certificates);
- Work with finance office to pay vendor invoices and coordinate financial transactions (like credit card payments, check deposits, and interdepartmental transfers);
- Coordinate payroll and honoraria payments for part-time instructors,
- Work with marketing to generate monthly eblasts and other promotional material;
- Maintain online registration platform OvationTix (build classes, provide registration links to marketing for website updates, track registrations, collaborate with finance office on payouts),
- Assist with content generation for the program’s digital media (social media, online advertising, and so forth);
- Supervise one to two graduate assistants
