BKLYN Larder is looking for a Website and Ecommerce Manager

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves food, is passionate about e-commerce and digital marketing, and wants to help grow a business. This is a full-time 40 hours a week position with remote flexibility - a minimum of three days on premise in our shop on Flatbush Avenue per week. 

You would be responsible for all aspects of our communications needs, and website and ecommerce content. Manager works with our tech partners, and produces and implements strategies across all online channels.

Job Description

  • Develop an understanding of our brand, audience, and services as well as how they relate to market trends and cultural phenomenon across all media channels.
  • Identify and track measurements for communication activities and routinely analyze communication performance.
  • Determine and implement the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. 
  • Create and manage content including product descriptions and categorization.
  • Produce and distribute monthly blog.
  • Post and respond on Insta and Facebook. Post on Pinterest, Linked In, Twitter, Yelp, Google, and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Brooklyn Marketplace.
  • Create email marketing campaigns, build and maintain segmented customer lists.
  • Create and implement pay per click campaigns on Google and boosted social campaigns.
  • Work closely with FOH and BOH managers

Skills

  • Experience in Wordpress, Square, Mailchimp, Shopventory, Google Analytics, and Google Ads are a plus.
  • Passionate about food, gifting, and digital trends.
  • Experience in direct to customer online retail.
  • Strong technical skills and grasp of modern technology and social media.
  • Detail oriented multi-tasker and self-motivated problem solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • An understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy. 
  • High degree of flexibility, a collaborative spirit, and willingness to learn from others.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects on time and with a high-level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
