Job description
Make great food from fresh ingredients, have fun, and learn new skills along the away as a Belfast Co-op Production Cook!
Production Cooks do a little bit of everything from basic prep work, to following complex recipes, to packaging and merchandising products. Whether you are an experienced cook or just starting out, the Belfast Co-op has something to offer all kinds making grab-and-go foods, take-and-heat items, and more for our community. Baking opportunities may also exist for the right candidate. Our Prepared Foods Department works hard to intentionally create a safe and positive kitchen environment. Previous cooking experience is desirable with training provided regardless. All workers receive at least $15 an hour (with experience or after training), a generous store discount, a great benefits package, and are a valued part of our friendly and inclusive Co-op community. Must be willing to work mornings and one weekend day. All workers are required to wear masks.
