Job description

Job Responsibilities: As a Front of House Manager, you will help to drive the daily operations of Eastcut Sandwich Bar and will ensure Eastcut is meeting its goals in service experience. You will lead all Team Members (Guest Experience focus), setting them up for success in their individual roles and establishing team cohesion. You will work expo, the bar, and dining areas alongside your Team Members, taking a hands-on approach to leading your team. You will also work directly with management on hiring, onboarding, and training your Team Members. This will be a great learning opportunity, as you will be exposed to all aspects of restaurant ownership and management. Below are some of the things we will expect of you:

  • Uphold our Core Values and lead by example
  • Foster a fun and compassionate environment for all Team Members
  • Maintain highest quality standards in all products and processes, ensuring that guests have consistent and positive experiences
  • Maintain highest standards of food safety within all FOH areas (beverage prep, expo, bar, dining rooms, bathrooms, etc.), helping management to ensure high scores on all health department inspections
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels (paper and beverage)
  • Manage vendor relationships and place orders
  • Schedule team member shifts to appropriately meet the volumes of the business
  • Practice Smiling Hospitality and ensure Team Members do the same – provide all guests with a five-star experience
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant

Job Requirements:

  • Hospitality experience required, management experience preferred
  • Previous Hospitality or Culinary education is a plus
  • Current ServSafe Manager certificate is a plus – we provide training if not certified
  • Ability to learn, train, and coach other Team Members in all aspects of operation
  • A natural at showcasing Smiling Hospitality and inspiring Team Members to do the same
  • Self-starter, with the ability to challenge yourself, ask questions, work hard, and grow
