Officially established in 2012, Dana's Bakery started out in a small kitchen located in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Since then, Dana's Bakery has continued to grow in a big way making the Inc. 5000 list for Fastest Growing Private Companies in America in 2018 and 2019.
From Red Velvet to S'mores, Fruity Cereal to Thin Mint, our Macarons are available in flavors inspired by classic all-American desserts and candy. To keep things fresh, a new flavor is added to the collection every month!
In June 2018 Dana expended her product line with the launch of cookies & Mookies™ - a cookie stuffed with a macaron inside. These cookies are already insta-famous, especially the classic black & white with a rainbow twist.
Dana's Bakery currently has over 40 employees and operates out of a 6000 sq ft custom-built facility in South Hackensack NJ, DANA'S BAKERY SHIPS TO CUSTOMERS AND WHOLESALERS NATIONWIDE.

We are looking for a full-time production baker to join our team.
Dana's Bakery makes gluten free French macarons and cookies in FUN American flavors! We are excited for the perfect candidate to join our team! Learn more about the job opportunity below:
Ensure exceptional product by following recipes, understanding prep procedures, and maintaining raw materials quality
Make sure our baked goods are baked and decorated according to Dana's Bakery product standards
Keep up with pace of production flow
Understand proper use of all equipment: ovens, mixers, scales, walk-in, and freezer
Maintain a clean production area
Clean and sanitize all equipment, work areas, containers and utensils
Be quick, accurate and organized
Respect coworkers' space and time
Prepare special orders to ensure customer specifications are met
Ensure operations are in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
Perform other duties as directed by a manager
Ability to work well in a busy environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (according to business demand)
Requirements:
Experience is preferred but not necessary. Everyone can be trained!
- Reliable work attendance
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Possess a sense of urgency and time management and prioritization
- Knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must not be allergic to nuts
