Job description
This is a full time, year round position for a seasoned farm worker with greenhouse experience. Only applicants who have more than 3 years experience working on a diversified vegetable farm will be considered (preferably Organic). During the growing season responsibilities would include management of 6 greenhouses for sales, seeding and production. During the off-season additional responsibilities will include working in our pack house and management of winter greens production. Applicant will have a high level of organizational skills, ability to strategize and implement a production system. Passion for growing vegetables and flowers is integral to success in this position. The need to be a self starter and independently contribute to the success of the farm is essential. The right employee will eventually be considered for a salaried position with additional benefits. Housing is not available.
Compensation
this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr
