The Natural Trading Company Organic Farm is looking for bright, enthusiastic, hard-working people to help with field, greenhouse, and packing shed work.  We are looking for candidates who are motivated, dependable, and able to work quickly and efficiently with the physical stamina to work long days outside in challenging weather. 

Relevant experience includes agriculture, construction, kitchen, or other high-paced work experience. The ideal candidate is someone with a high work drive who is looking for organic farming experience at a successful 25+ year farm business.   You should be comfortable working in extreme weather including cold and wet conditions in the early spring and high heat in the summer, and be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.  Candidates should be detail-oriented, enjoy working outside, enjoy physical work, be driven to improve, and keep up the pace.  We depend on everyone to show up regularly and reliably to keep up with the demands of diversified vegetable farming.  Spanish language skills and a passion for organic food, farming, or cooking is a big plus. 

This is a paid hourly position with farm food available in abundance.  We’re looking for someone who is interested in seasonal full-time employment.  One position would start part-time immediately and another in March leading into full-time as the season picks up May through October.  Full-time work schedule is Monday-Friday, half-day Saturday or Sunday (5.5 days/week, approximately 45-55 hours/week).  The work day can be up to 9.5 hours/day, with days starting 6:00am or earlier at the height of the summer.
