Job Description:

We’re seeking a part-time designer/photographer to help execute and cultivate Farm to People’s visual communications. Not only are you detail-oriented, but you are an ultra-creative problem solver with keen ability to efficiently and successfully execute on digital and printed design tasks, as well as execute on the brand’s aesthetic through photography. Using our style guide, you will help create on-brand, beautifully curated design elements for digital marketing and social media. You will also take ownership of special projects including infographics, icons and other assets for the website. UX design experience is a plus.

 

Weekly Tasks:

• Create weekly email campaign in Mailchimp

• Create weekly recipe card in Indesign
• Upload recipes and featured ingredients on blog
• Design 3-4 instagram stories and posts
• Photograph and edited product photos for website

 

Special projects: 

• Ideate and design printed marketing material 
• Design infographics, icons and other material for website
• Photographing in the warehouse: Capturing candid shots of produce being delivered; food being cooked in the kitchen; warehouse team preparing and packing

• Setting up and styling shoots for editorial: Product collection flatlays, product group shots, lifestyle shots

 

There will also be opportunities to shoot occasional events and farm visits.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Mailchimp
• Proficiency in Figma and illustration skills are a plus
• Proficiency with computers, Mac or PC, and with Google Workplace
• Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role, you should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
• Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills and has the ability to multitask
• Uses excellent English as the business language within the company and exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to complete duties without supervision
• You will need to have your own camera equipment and working computer
