Company description Beaujolais is a family-owned restaurant property in the historic Village of Mendocino on the rugged and remote Northern California coast. The fine dining Cafe Beaujolais made the property a culinary destination as a trailblazer in farm to table cuisine since 1968.

More recently, the Beaujolais property has expanded to include the Brickery and Waiting Room -- a brick oven pizzeria serving our garden area and an artisan coffee shop and tap beer lounge open 7am-10pm. Community is at the heart of the Beaujolais mission, and the property offerings include something for everyone, luring tourists and locals alike.

Cuisine is classic yet innovative, with a focus on from-scratch cooking and baking. We have an on-site vegetable garden and bee hives. Make the best pizza around!
Work in a fast-paced, order-at-the-window-style garden-facing pizzeria. You will cook in a hand-crafted brick oven making artisan pizza with from-scratch, seasonal ingredients, often from our own garden.

The pizzaiolo is a tipped position that includes pizza prep, cooking and creation. You will work in a team-environment with a second pizzaiolo and your front of house staff to optimize the guest experience -- high-end delicious, yet relaxed and welcoming. You will also organize, inventory and stock pizza ingredients, as well as be responsible for the cleanliness of your station. 

Must be 18 or older, able to lift 50 pounds, work on your feet and have a strong back for bending to access the pizza oven. Days of work are Wednesday through Sunday, with the opportunity for some evening work. The position is available immediately, minimum of three shifts per week, or up to full-time.

Pay is $17/hr - $20/hr with pooled tips. Tips can average around $120 / day for an 8-hour shift.
