Company description The Kenilworth Farmers Market is a community market located in Towson, Maryland.  The market supports over 12 local, small-scale farmers and producers.  The market is located in a busy, thriving community and operates every Tuesday from 3pm to 6pm, April through November. This position requires a creative individual with a passion for local food.  The Kenilworth Farmers Market is looking to expand and is in need of an innovative and detailed marketing plan. The day to day responsibilities of managing the market fall on our Market Administrator, leaving the outreach coordinator freedom to innovate and inspire.  The Market Manager/outreach coordinator would be responsible for:

-representing and promoting the market in the community
-executing local grass roots marketing and community outreach initiatives
-strategizing to increase the market's customer base and business activity
-creating and executing social media campaigns
-creating and leading on site events

The ideal candidate will be passionate about local food, detail-oriented, responsible, outgoing and a strong communicator who will represent Kenilworth Farmers Market to the community.  A passion for event planning, social media, and marketing is preferred.  The ability to work independently is a must.  The position will require 10-40 hours per month, depending on the season and success of the marketing plan.  $18-25 per hour
