Georgia Organics has four key goals:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Management
• Provide administrative, logistical, and scheduling support for the President & CEO and the Director of Operations
• Create and guide staff through the development of staff meeting agendas and monthly board reports
• Answer general information and administrative voicemails and emails, redirect program specific inquires, and respond to constituent inquiries
Office Management (Virtual & Physical)
• Manage office supplies and materials maintaining sufficient operating stock
• Manage the postal needs of the organization
• Organize and maintain the front office area and supply room
• Provide guidance and support to the staff on available resources, policies, and procedures
• Provide administrative and management support to the Director of Operations in day-to-day business operations
Accounting
• Provide support in accounting by maintaining the check log, running credit card transaction data reports, and processing the general office invoices for payment
• Running and distributing financial reports in Microsoft Excel
• Assist the Director of Operations with the annual audit
• Assist the Director of Operations with the annual budgeting process
Other
• Provide leadership and project management for the annual conference registration process
• Recruit and leverage volunteers to provide additional support to achieve the organization’s mission
• Assist the President & CEO or Director of Operations in executing various projects as needed
Qualifications:

This said, an ideal candidate would demonstrate most of the qualifications and experiences listed below:
• Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Teams
• Project management skills (experience with Asana is a plus)
• Develop and adhere to a detailed project work plan and timeline
• Set and follow internal deadlines for yourself and for organizational collaborators
• Independently follow up on communications
• Experience in business or nonprofit administration/operations
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong organization skills, orientation to detail, and sense of self direction

Compensation:
Salary Range: $40,000 to $44,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits: Health insurance (currently 100 percent premium employer-paid), retirement investment options in a 403(b)-tax deferred account; three weeks of paid time off in the first year plus holidays.
