Mona Creative is looking for an NYC-based entry-level Coordinator to join the team and work with us on social media content creation, community management and influencer marketing for a variety of exciting clients in the food and lifestyle space!

 

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for the food and hospitality space, ability to manage social media accounts and be excited at the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are a small and fast growing company so the desire to learn is a must!

 

Specific tasks include:

  • Curate and manage social media postings on social platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for restaurant accounts. 
  • Develop monthly content calendars to align with restaurant messaging objectives and established brand aesthetics. 
    • Ability to create content such as Photos and videos of food, cocktails, interiors, and restaurant teams.
    • Content that incorporates slow motion, stop motions, gifs and graphic edits that include branding elements specific to each channel.
  • Work with the Brand Community Manager to implement strategic direction for each account.
  • Execute daily social media posting and scheduling across all social platforms.   
  • Foster and maintain elevated community engagement by executing an active voice on all social media channels by engaging with, commenting, liking and responding to all messages. 
  • Maintain excellent hospitality by escalating any messages or comments from reviews to the appropriate restaurant team in real time.  
  • Stay on top of social media marketing trends, research new channels and share key insights/learnings with the team.   
  • Develop and maintain relationships with social media influencers and local New York media contacts and tastemakers.  
  • Manage influencer CRM from discovery + recruitment, to creative briefing, pricing negotiations, contracts, ongoing liaising with influencers/talent managers, and beyond.
  • Measure and report on influencer performance and share insights for ongoing optimization
 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of video/photo editing software and apps to create graphic designs that follow each brand’s aesthetic.
  • Knowledge of how to take professional level photos/videos specifically of food and restaurant spaces.
  • Creativity! The ability to create content that is unique, outside of the box and unexpected based on current industry standards as well as the ability to apply creative strategies to help grow each brand.
  • The ability to create copy at a professional level for all social channels and marketing campaigns that strengthens each brand and follows each brand’s distinct guidelines.
