Job Description
The Production Assistant will work out of our brand new facility in Winchester center. Main duties include assisting our production and operations teams with maintaining stock and quality control of our artisan spices and blends.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Product Production & Assistance
- Pack spices for retail and wholesale orders
- Be a key operator of various filling and labeling equipment on the production floor
- Assist with updating and maintaining the pack list as needed
- Assist with managing product branch transfers to the Cambridge storefront
- Observe first-in-first-out procedures, batch tracking, and safety sealing for items
- Record production into lot tracking software
- Assist with receiving by using lot code generation software and observing FIFO for spice storage
- Maintain quality control of spices, blends, and packaging
- Communicate low stock items to Production Manager and help manage flow of product
- Fulfillment Assistance
- As needed, assist with packing, gathering, and staging products for the fulfillment team.
- Assist with wholesale staging and fulfillment as needed
- Miscellaneous Duties
- Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility
- Assist in keeping spice and packaging storage organized
- Communicate low stock items to management for reorder
Requirements
- Meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
