Company description Yesfolk is a family run brewery in Troy, New York. We make functional & tonic beverages with a specialty in barrel-fermented kombucha.  We care deeply about making delicious and exciting beverages that feel good and play well with others. We’re a small family-of-color-owned and operated business entering our 6th year of making kombucha and other tonics for our local and greater communities. 2022/2023 is a huge moment for us as we work on building out and preparing for our new facility in Troy.  Apart from the actual physical move, we will be implementing many new and more efficient and streamlined systems.  Joining us now means being an integral part of the most transformational period in our story thus far.  Come take an active role in helping us grow and improve all aspects of our lil operation.  Experience is a plus, but more important is the openness and desire to learn new things and improve on what you and we already know on a daily basis.  Regardless of role, everyone takes part in finding ways to improve on all tasks and methods.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with others of all backgrounds and walks of life and being part of a team centered on mutual respect and positivity.

 

Requirements: 

-Able to lift and carry 50lbs at a time

-Ability to work on your feet for long periods

-Personable and friendly

-Ability to maintain detailed records and logs

-Attention to detail especially where sanitation, cleanliness and safety procedures are concerned

-Problem solving skills

-Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or in the process of doing so

-Technical aptitude

-Experience in commercial brewery or food production is a plus, but not required

 

You will be assisting with all aspects of production and packaging.  This means doing  2 days a week of production and 1-2 days a week of canning and/or bottling.  We are a small team and everyone is flexible and pitches in to help others when more hands are needed for any given task or project.  Lots of opportunity to grow as we prefer to train and promote from within.  We don’t expect perfection from anyone, but we do expect a consistent and concerted effort to learn and improve on a daily basis.
 

Compensation:

-$20/hr

-Profit sharing
