Canewater Farm is an organic vegetable farm located in Teton Valley, Idaho.  We are a few miles from the town of Victor at the base of Teton Pass.  Victor, Driggs, and neighboring Jackson Hole, Wyoming are the communities we support.  We grow on 6 acres plus two hoop houses and two greenhouses.  We sell to 20 restaurants, 2 grocery stores, 2 online markets and 3 weekly farmers markets.   We are a family farm with two kiddos, one dog, one farmer/owner, one manager, 5 crew members, and some amazing volunteers.  We love our farm, love this community, and love growing food!

• Greenhouse Propagation 
• Soil bed preparation and plantings (by hand, paper pot, and water wheel)
• Hoophouse management including trellising and pruning
• Daily harvesting of all crops by hand and mechanical
• Post-harvest handling which includes washing, grading, packing,  cooler management, and deliveries.
• Seedbed preparation, seedings, plantings.  Cultivation/Weeding of all crops by hand/hoe.
• Lots of quality time with row cover!
• Tractor work is available for those who have the skillsets.  No tractor work or experience is required.   
• Organic management and control of weeds, insects and disease.
• Irrigation management including hand lines and drip systems.
• Maintaining records for Organic Certifications 
• 1-2 Farmers Markets a month.  Not required
• Property maintenance including weed whacking and mowing.
• Ability to catch lost children and dogs.  Must choose good music in the pack house!
• Expect to work 45-50 hours per week.   We strive hard for 45 hrs a week max. 7-4:30.  Spring and fall start/end times fluctuate based on weather. 2 Days off per week.   
• 30 min Paid lunch break.  Break room and kitchen provided.
