Bien Cuit is seeking a dynamic marketing manager with exceptional communication skills to present our retail, ecommerce, and wholesale business to the public.
The marketing manager will provide creative strategies to create a content that presents cohesive brand identity across all communication channels. Reporting to the director of finance operations, this role will have a hand in building a best-in-class online bakery in addition to growing an established brand with a devoted following.
Position Responsibilities:
Graphic Design and Content Production
- Work directly with CEO to ensure that all content adheres to brand standards.
- Maintain digital merchandising & content calendar.
- Organize and oversee photoshoots, including but not limited to creating shot lists/pack lists/call sheets, organizing/preparing samples, overseeing product/prop deliveries to studios.
- Own photography archives, maintaining user-friendly filing system for easy search and navigation.
- Re-size and crop photography as needed.
- Manage design templates for outdoor signage, catering assets, and other brand collateral–updated templates according to campaign schedules.
- Manage relationship with printer and packaging vendors. Coordinate print production for all brand collateral.
- Coordinate distribution of printed items to brick-and-mortar locations.
- Manage social media accounts; create content, schedule posts, and manage community.
- Ensure all items are properly merchandised on website.
- Manage email calendar; draft copy, update email templates, and scheduling emails.
- Draft email, social media copy, website content, and paid ads as needed.
- Manage aesthetics and functionality of ecommerce sites.
Position Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, PR, or creative role
- Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign) experience required
- Experience with Mailchimp, Shopify, and Square is a plus
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to prioritize and hit deadlines
- Extremely organized; able to create and maintain systems that keep the team on track
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit; ability to work well on a team and individually
- Strong computer skills, Excel, Word, GSuite, etc.
- Passionate about good food!
