As the company approaches our 14th year in business, our current sales team has an opening for lead sales for NY city metro area based here at our main warehouse in Brooklyn. The position is for lead sales person based here at our main warehouse in Brooklyn. Working primarily with NY metro accounts as well as some of our neighboring territory in NY state and CT. The company's culture is built around a dedication to providing the highest level of service to our customer partners.
The work primarily involves building rapport and working with leading independent retailers, and the company will provide support and training to enable success. The ideal candidate will possess the passion for the products & going deep with the knowledge about their story and make. We require someone with a good degree of cheese expertise - as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
Company is prepared to train cheese people "new" to wholesale sales but two additional but very essential ingredients for this work would be excellent self discipline & self motivation. The job requires great attention to keeping track of preorders and schedules - and the ideal person for this position must be strong in this area for certain.
Compensation commensurate with experience - but the successful person in this job will be able to achieve considerable growth in income above the base salary. Generous bonus and commissions potential. The base salary increases with evolution of the rep throughout the work - meaning overall the income potential for the job is unlimited in its potential for growth and with good reps grows steadily throughout the time working with us.
