Job description As the Customer Experience Associate at HH, you will work closely with the sales and operations teams to create a positive customer experience, support customer growth, and contribute to sales team success. You will learn about the many facets of a fast-paced logistics company and have an opportunity to make an impact across departments and with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HH’s central ordering lines (email, phone, text message), addressing all customer service issues and questions while maintaining a positive and professional attitude 
  • Send daily recap summary of all central ordering line activity to sales team
  • Manage book of ‘house accounts’ that order infrequently by understanding their needs, placing their orders, and resolving any issues as they arise
  • Handle inbound account inquiries and onboard new customers into our CRM systems
  • Input new orders, discounts, and invoice changes requested by sales reps through our order entry platform, keeping in mind various ordering deadlines and current inventory availability
  • Send bi-weekly standing order reminders and enter all standing orders 
  • Centralize and coordinate customer communication: ordering reminders, daily order updates, general announcements, holiday schedules, etc.
  • Provide support with order entry for sales team, especially while they’re out at in-person meeting with customers 
  • Accumulate product knowledge through knowledge sessions and independent research when necessary
  • Provide delivery issue resolution assistance
    • Assist with centralized communication system to manage product shorts, subs, and delivery issues to optimize customer satisfaction
    • Assist with liaising with operations, buying, and sales teams and customers to resolve delivery issues and customer shorts
  • Actively call selected customers on behalf of the sales team to secure weekly orders and upsell when applicable in order to support sales growth

  • Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable working in various tech platforms (Slack, Hubspot, G Suite, inventory management system)
  • Exceptional problem solver, stays calm and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, but doesn’t lose sight of the big picture
  • Team-player, self-starter, and quick-learner who takes pride in producing great work
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and passionate about HH’s mission to transform agriculture and food distribution
  • Passionate about the local/regional food system and the benefits it brings to our community and to the environment

  • Food industry experience is a plus

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-2 years of customer service preferred

Details

This is a full-time position that can work remotely. Being within a  NYC/ Hudson Valley radius is ideal for warehouse visits. 
Normal work schedule is Mon-Fri 9AM - 5PM. 

Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Application instructions
