Floribunda Flower Farm branched from Floribunda Landscaping in 2021 as a couple acre, sustainable cut-flower farm. The small, local business focuses on planting diverse annual and perennial flower crops mixed with some veggies and herbs. With a homebase in Decatur, GA and the farm in the Rockdale Art Farm in Stockbridge, GA, near Panola Mountain, flowers and bouquets are sold in the Decatur/Avondale Estates communities to local shops, farmers markets, florists, bakers, and more! The high-end landscaping side of Floribunda has upwards of 30 active clients around Atlanta. We create and maintain all styles of gardens to balance the blooms, greenery, shade, sun, water features, hardscaping, etc.

Job Description

Hiring 1 farmers market crew member for immediate start. The role of the farmers market crew is to transport, set up, sell bouquets, and break down the farmers market booth. Current farmers markets are Oakhurst Farmers Market Saturday 9am-1pm and Avondale Estates Farmers Market 10am-1pm. Not required to work on the farm. Options of either day or both days.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience in customer service and selling products is great but not required, training will be provided
Able to lift ~50lbs
Willing and able to work in ALL weather conditions

Reliable personal transportation

Valid driver's license

Respect company vehicles used to get to farmers markets, etc

Compassionate, self-motivated, flexible, team player

Able and willing to learn new skills; learning how to seek answers, problem solve or seek assistance to get the job done

Hours
The farmers market crew hours are Saturday and/or Sunday from 8am to 2pm.
