Located in majestic oak meadow hillside on the south end of Ashland, Oregon resides a 28 acre, off grid + solar powered small food production farm. We are UPROOT!

Our primary focus has been on organically raised, slow grown heritage pork + chicken for over 10 years. This 2024 growing season we are integrating a permaculture designed plan to our csa including rotational grazing of meat + dairy goats to our livestock production.
 

Additionally, our expansion includes welcoming fruits, vegetables, dairy, perennial garden and a fruit + nut orchard into our dope off grid food forest + retail offerings to the Rogue Valley.

we are currently hiring a lead to assist in the co-management of our micro market garden, livestock and orchard. our 2024 projects include fencing, irrigation and establishing our livestock rotational grazing plan.

- physically 100%.
- self starter with clear communication.
- passion for food production, preservation + education.
- live in the southern O area with long term potential to live onsite.

ideals :

- background in market garden CSA production.
- knowledge on seed and irrigation installation. 
- farm fencing and carpentry experience.
- dairy goat management.

We are now offering a part time paid opportunity on our private, tranquil acreage with vast outdoor space for hiking, chillin under the stars along with Ashland’s downtown perks minutes away. Additionally, we offer trade compensation through our CSA products and long term will consider housing the right candidates full time.

We are a drug free farm but respect occasional drama free alcohol consumption. We do have allergies to cigarette smoke so tobacco use not ideal on the farm.
