The Weekend Farmstand Manager is the point person for our stand during Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Manager will be responsible for the overall function of the farmstand by stocking and restocking produce, arranging displays, making signs, serving as the cashier, maintaining stand cleanliness, assisting the field crew at the stand adjacent wash station, and helping out with other tasks as needed.

Hours: 8 to 6, Friday Saturday & Sunday, ~30 hours per week.
Pay: Starts at $17 per hour
Other compensation: Free farm food.
The position likely will begin June 27th, and end September 29th, but those dates are based on an average growing season, so they may shift some, and the end date is flexible.

Applicants must be eager to learn, be self motivated and able to find work to do without constant supervision, have a basic working knowledge of farm fresh foods, and have above average interpersonal communication skills. 

The stand employees are the face of the farm and should take that responsibility seriously.  We require that stand employees be patient and kind with all customers, in all situations, and ask the lead farmers to deal with the riffraff.  Farmstand employees are not expected to tolerate difficult customers, but they are expected to treat them with kindness until the farmers can resolve the situation.

We are also looking for applicants with strong mental math and artistic abilities, but those are not necessary for consideration.

Applicants must be reliable and only ask for personal days for health reasons. Our farm season is so short and we need all hands on deck during this time... that said, we never second guess or doubt physical or mental health issues, and make the wellness of our staff our first priority.

Applicants will be expected to work their shift without unnecessary personal media usage with phones or computers.
