Company description Barrett's Mill Farm is a women-owned certified organic vegetable, fruit and flower farm growing on 14 acres of town-owned land in Concord, Massachusetts. We sell the large majority of our produce through our farm stand and our 200-member CSA. As part of our community-oriented goals we also provide free CSA shares to two local non-profits, donate produce to food pantries weekly, and offer reduced price memberships as part of the SNAP/HIP program. Job description Field Crew Members will work closely with the farm managers and an amazing farm crew harvesting and washing produce, weeding, planting and seeding. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to be outdoors, get their hands dirty, and have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. We are looking for someone who is not only able to physically keep up with the fast pace of the job, but who also has a positive attitude, good sense of humor and is enthusiastic about vegetables!

Requirements:
• The ability to lift 40lbs, bend, twist and walk over uneven ground repeatedly.
• Comfort working outdoors and in a fast-paced work environment.
• Punctuality is essential.
• Previous farming experience is a plus.

Schedule:
• Field crew members are generally scheduled Tuesday - Saturday, either for mornings (7am-noon) or full days (7am-4pm). Exact schedules will be arranged individually.
• Positions available for 20 to 40 hours per week.
• Potential for the position to be combined with some Farm Stand Shopkeeper hours for the right candidate.
• Position runs mid-May through August. Work is also available starting in late April and going through October for the right candidate.
