Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the LGG team full time. You will wear many hats and play a crucial role as the main point of contact for customers. You will balance working autonomously as well as work closely with our management and office team. We have many exciting new projects in the works that you will be involved in!

We are looking for a full-time candidate to work on site in our East Harlem kitchen office generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am- 4pm but sometimes longer hours may be required with occasional weekend check-ins.

 

You will be responsible for:

Account Management

  • Acting as point of contact with current customers and schools
  • Maintain all customer account data from inquiries, order input to correct daily deliveries
  • Managing internal calendar for production and deliveries
  • Inputting data and updating spreadsheets with order information
  • Fielding questions about food, ingredients, menus, etc
  • Creating marketing materials and customer communications (email templates, menus, etc)
  • Fielding interests from new schools & accounts
 

Business Operations

  • Communicate issues with daily deliveries to all internal teams
  • Communicate information about new schools or changes to existing schools to operations team
  • Prepare all daily Production Paperwork
  • Tracking drivers and providing schools with ETAs
  • Fill out special lunch request order forms and hand off to culinary coordinator
 

We are looking for a candidate with :

  • Four years Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years office experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, excellent math skills
  • Computer literacy, advanced proficiency Google sheets, familiarity with Mailchimp, Wix, Form Builders (JotForm), Paypal, Stripe, etc
  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • Food industry experience is appreciated but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be client / customer facing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively and self direct

This is a full time hourly position, $28 or DOE
