Job description

The Team and Role

The Customer & Operations Support Team builds client satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring every order we process is handled properly. By overseeing order fulfillment, communicating with our clients, and liaising between departments the Customer & Operations Support Associate acts as the public face of Wulf’s Fish, building client confidence through elevated service. A COS Associate acts as an administrator, quality control inspector, sales support professional, customer service agent and dispatch. The ideal Associate will have strong communication skills, a genuine passion for building product knowledge, and a respect for the hundreds of chefs who are proud to serve our fish to their patrons daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe orders from clients and build prep lists for our production team.
  • Work with our Logistics department to ensure efficient order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Communicate product availability with customers and between departments.
  • Touch the fish! Keep an eye on incoming product and learn from your peers about what makes seafood high quality in order to pass this knowledge on to your clients.
  • Chat with customers about their needs and work within our systems to get them the product they want.

Qualifications

  • Must be organized, team oriented, and accountable.
  • Must be proficient in Office 365.
  • Previous knowledge of, or willingness to learn Quickbooks, Missive, and other platforms.
  • Must have a sense of humor.
  • Some Spanish a big plus.

Work Environment and Key Details

  • This is a salaried position with the expectation of an in-person 5-6 day work week.
  • The seafood game starts early and a prompt 6am start is expected, not an ideal role for night owls.
  • This is an office position but frequently requires trips out to a refrigerated and wet production area.
  • We encourage employees to be hands on with the product- look at, handle it, take it home to cook and eat it!
  • This job isn’t for everyone but for a growing number of us (from the lifers to the rookies) it’s a great fit.

Benefits

  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) with Match
  • Medical, Dental and Vision
  • Free parking
  • Employee discounts on all in-house seafood for home use
  • Cellphone stipend based on business usage
