Company description Our company is a specialized importer/distributor supplying the better independent retailers in our territories. Our main expertise lies in fine cheeses - although we also source a strong range of charcuterie, fresh olives, cheese accompaniments, and rare specialty food items. Founded in late 2009, we have experienced strong and steady growth from our inception. Job description This role involves managing procedures for inbounds and outbounds each week. Overseeing and managing the team's work each day is handled by a small management team in our Brooklyn warehouse. This includes both in town trucks each day as well as extensive LTL shipments from our dock to all points around the country. 

The ideal candidate must be able to handle physical work in the coolers and working side by side with staff to move pallets and product through the system each day - with the balance of time at a desk and computer helping with operational management in terms of scheduling employees, inventory counts, etc.  

We need a person with strong organizational and leadership skills - attention to detail and accuracy is essential in our work. Customers will buy more from the distributor that gets the orders correct - and we have always and will always strive to get the orders right for our valued customers.
