Company description Wild For Salmon began as only an adventurous trip to Alaska in 2002 to do some commercial salmon fishing with a friend. Following our first fishing excursion, we arrived home with 2 coolers of salmon for our friends and family. This is when we quickly realized the uniqueness of the product and the possibilities that lie ahead. Fast forward 20 years, and we have grown to a wonderful team of 18 employees, serving customers at our retail location, buying clubs, local farm markets, restaurants, and health food stores.

Wild for Salmon Seafood Market and Cafe

Job type and schedule:

Full time | Weekend | day shift Monday- Saturday 

 

Pay:

$14-$16

 

Job Summary:

Wild for Salmon Cafe is looking for individuals that are passionate about seafood. Our cafe will be providing a small menu for dine in and take out along with ready to go items for our Wild for Salmon store.

 

Job Duties / Skills Needed:

  •       Communicate well with others
  •       Standing for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
  •       Must be motivated to work efficiently and independently to complete tasks in a timely manner
  •       Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  •       Operate standard kitchen equipment.
  •       Follow recipes and directions and document daily production
  •       Maintain a clean and organized station and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
  •       Make sure all items are wrapped, labeled, and stored properly throughout shift
  •       Responsible for properly clean kitchen and equipment throughout and end of shift
  •       Available to work weekends 
 

Experience:

 2 years of culinary experience
