The Restaurant at The Pink House is a new hospitality-driven, seasonal American restaurant located in West Cornwall, CT on the bank of the Housatonic River, over the covered bridge.

We bring in beautiful products from our community and use traditional and modern techniques to make what we think is some pretty tasty food and drink and a great time. 

At present we are looking for experienced line cooks, servers and bartenders to be a part of our opening team in May of this year!

Ideal Server candidates will:

• Have at least 2 years experience as a server in a full service restaurant
• Have an innate, personal sense of hospitality and a sincere passion for providing exceptional dining experiences
• Be prepared and excited to learn about cutting edge food, wine and beverages
• Attend regular meetings outside of service hours
• Able to perform high quality work without supervision
• Able to handle money accurately and operate point of sale system
• Be kind, presentable and ready to jump into a high-standards, precise environment that is also fun and creative 

Server Responsibilities:

• Take and food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
• Write patrons orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders electronically for transmittal to kitchen staff
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner
• Have in depth knowledge of menu and food preparation, with the ability to make suggestions
• Ensure customers are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Collect payments from tables
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
• Help food preparation staff when and if necessary
