Local Roots Farm is an awesome place to work. We are a family run vegetable farm (Jason & Siri & our two kids) and we've been farming in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley for 18 years. We are known for our work growing and promoting radicchio, chicories, and other unusual Italian vegetables. We even started a radicchio festival back in 2018! 

Growing vegetables is hard, labor intensive work, but it's also joyous. We love working outside and working quickly and efficiently with our hands and bodies. On our farm, we prioritize quality of life, work-life balance, community, and fun. Many of our workers have been with us for 5+ years, which we think is a testament to our philosophy about work.... or perhaps a testament to the glorious swimming hole on our farm :-)  

Job description Full-Time Farm – This is a five day a week job, where you will be paticipating in all aspects of the farm: planting, irrigation, tractor work, harvest, wash/pack, and maintenance tasks. We seek hardworking, mature, people who can work with minimal oversight. Prior farming experience is preferred but not required. You’ll be working with a core crew of experienced employees, many of whom have worked at Local Roots Farm for over 5 years. Full time employees must have a valid drivers license and a willingness to drive a one-day-a-week delivery route in Seattle in a farm van. Because our business is located in an area without access to reliable public transportation, we only recommend that applicants with access to a vehicle apply.  Compensation this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr Application instructions Please click here to sign in and view application details.
