Job description

The ideal candidate for the Food and Beverage Manager position will be a creative leader with a proven track record of success. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, they will oversee the creation of a new in-house dining program including visioning, strategy and content creation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or professional certification in hospitality management or a related field.  
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in professional food and beverage. 
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership position. 
  • Must have or be able to complete food safety certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, F&B management and PMS software systems. 
  • Ability to interpret financial data into an operational plan, manage budgets and achieve financial goals. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • A keen eye for detail and high standards of service. 
  • Good general knowledge of food and beverage including preparation methods, proper handling and storage. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations for all Food and Beverage services and deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our standards of service. 
  • Create SOPs for dining services. 
  • Recruit, hire and train F&B service staff. 
  • Supervise and manages a positive and professional FOH team, scheduling, and performance evaluations. 
  • Work together with the Exec. Chef, Event Liaisons, Hosts and Event Coordinator to plan food & beverage components for all events within our PMS system.  
  • Maintain guest profiles to include allergies, preferences, special requests and business division trends.  
  • Develop and adhere to budgets for labor and supplies.
