Job description
Wayside Cider in Andes, NY seeks a chef/kitchen manager for the summer season while our full-time chef is on maternity leave. An ideal candidate for this job will have previous experience in a culinary setting and a passion for food. This individual will be responsible for preparing food for our taproom weekly as well as managing our small kitchen staff. This position is a highly independent one that will require a candidate to both prep and plate a seasonally and locally-sourced menu. We have an existing menu that the candidate can execute, but are also happy to support and encourage creative expression within menu design. Success will be determined by your organizational abilities, discipline, and strong communication skills. We can provide housing on our farm in Delhi for the duration of the position.
Compensation
this position is : hourly, $20/hr +
