Company description Wayside is a cidery and taproom managed by a dedicated, tight-knit crew. Collectively, we craft cider and operate our taproom and small restaurant. Job description Wayside Cider in Andes, NY seeks a chef/kitchen manager for the summer season while our full-time chef is on maternity leave. An ideal candidate for this job will have previous experience in a culinary setting and a passion for food. This individual will be responsible for preparing food for our taproom weekly as well as managing our small kitchen staff. This position is a highly independent one that will require a candidate to both prep and plate a seasonally and locally-sourced menu. We have an existing menu that the candidate can execute, but are also happy to support and encourage creative expression within menu design. Success will be determined by your organizational abilities, discipline, and strong communication skills.
