Company description

Before you know it you’ll be in Beckman Hall starting out another “best ever” day at Dudley. For returning campers, you know what this means. For new campers, get ready for an amazing summer filled with friends, fun, new experiences and non-stop activity. Camp is a place where magic happens, and every day is filled with things you want to do. You’ll live independently with your buddies and learn to make good choices that impact the lives of others. Here are a few important things to consider:

Brotherhood

Sometimes at home it is hard to introduce yourself to others knowing that you may be very different from them or that you don’t have much in common. At Dudley, everyone is here to have a ball and enjoy their summer. Boys come from 33 different states and 10 foreign countries to spend their summers here. You won’t get very far without meeting someone new who will want to go for a swim, play some hoops or hit the golf range with you. Get ready to meet some great new friends – many of whom you’ll call your lifelong friend.

Become a Leader

I can assure you that there is something offered at Dudley that you haven’t tried before. It could be sailing or stand up paddle boarding. It might be getting on stage in a play or going for a morning jog. It might be cooking over an open fire or rock climbing. It might even be trying a meal that you wouldn’t touch at home. If you try new things at Camp, you might just fall in love with something you’ll want to get more involved in back at home.

Have Fun!

Your time at camp will fly by. Most of you will come for a single session which is only 25 days. Those days will go by so quickly and before you know it you’ll be driving home telling your family all about your experiences. Sure, there will be some times that are challenging, but for the most part, you’ll have positive experiences all day long. Look for ways to make a positive impact on those around you and your times together will be memorable.

I couldn’t be happier to be here at Camp Dudley, and we all want you to have the best summer of your life. Let’s make it happen together.

Dudley Director
