After recognizing the need for healthful culinary training, Dr. Colbin began teaching natural foods cooking classes in her home to less than a half-dozen students. Job Description
Natural Gourmet Institute is looking for an intelligent, forward-thinking and creative Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to spreading the word about innovative and mindful food education. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to lead an exciting variety of marketing, digital media, PR and communications projects.

Required Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Marketing and/or Digital Media Coordinator
  • Exhibited interest in food media, food as medicine, and sustainabile food production
  • Experience constructing and implementing cutting edge social media strategies; possesses the drive to be at the forefront of social media marketing trends
  • Ability to utilize analytics to build successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience promoting brands through community event activation
  • A good eye for food photography; possesses ability to curate Instagram feed
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat a must
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite, WordPress, Hootsuite and/or MailChimp a plus
  • Video editing skills a plus
