We are currently seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator for our NYC office who will support the firm’s Principals, Director of New Business, and Director of Public Relations in the pursuit of design projects and publicity across the globe.
We are looking for a person with superlative written, oral and design communication skills, effective project time management skills, strong organizational abilities, a willingness to learn, and someone who’s very detail oriented. This person will work independently as well as be part of a team. A familiarity with the New York City A/E market is beneficial but not necessary. Having some background in public relations and marketing is a plus but again, not necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management to produce proposals and qualifications packages as well as producing pitches and press releases for design projects and owned and operated restaurants and bars.
- Assist with graphic design of proposals, presentations and other marketing materials utilizing firm's graphic standard template.
- Assist with the development of quarterly marketing e-newsletters from both a content and graphic standpoint.
- Submit design projects for awards on behalf of the design studios gathering all assets necessary
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Marketing, English, International Business or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience working in Marketing/Communications Department within a professional services firm or similar experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in both written and verbal communication.
- Background and/or genuine interest in hospitality, architecture & design.
- High energy level, creativity, resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit.
- High visual acuity.
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Able to work well with deadlines, multi-task, and follow-through
