Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. Support the Meat/Seafood Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Supervisor and Regional Teams in maintaining regional standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving and preparing product and maintaining the meat/seafood area and selling the product.
- Ensure a fresh and appealing case by checking codes, rotating products, and removing old or out-of-date products.
- Maintain correct department signage and pricing.
- Weigh, price, and package customer selections.
- Answer customer questions, and practice suggestive selling.
- Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary department.
- Ability to follow instructions and established uniform procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to knowledgeably communicate the product line to the customer.
- Ability to understand the needs of customers.
Cooking and knife skills are a plus! Prior experience in meat/seafood is desired, but not required.
