Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.  Support the Meat/Seafood Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Supervisor and Regional Teams in maintaining regional standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving and preparing product and maintaining the meat/seafood area and selling the product.
 

1. Ensure a fresh and appealing case by checking codes, rotating products, and removing old or out-of-date products.
2. Maintain correct department signage and pricing.
3. Weigh, price, and package customer selections.
4. Answer customer questions, and practice suggestive selling.
5. Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
6. Maintain a safe and sanitary department.
7. Ability to follow instructions and established uniform procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
8. Ability to knowledgeably communicate the product line to the customer.
9. Ability to understand the needs of customers.

Cooking and knife skills are a plus! Prior experience in meat/seafood is desired, but not required.
