Job description Eventide Oyster Co. is in search of a professional Server(s) for our extremely busy restaurant in downtown Portland Maine! The individual(s) must be energetic, have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment. You must also be detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to multi task, and remain calm under pressure.  

Our restaurant is unique in that your job could be different every shift.  We rotate Host, Expo, Cocktail and Server positions.  You must be willing and able to fill any of those roles if needed. 

Strict Qualifications:

• POS compatible
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant. 5 years+ experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in a hospitable and professional manner
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Flexible schedule
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge
• Fluent in English language (writing, reading and speaking)
• Ability to multitask
• Basic understanding of health and safety codes
• Honest and dependable character

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work and move around the floor for extended periods of time
• Lift at least 20 lbs
