Farm Apprentice-Full Season Chestnut Hill Farm

  • Date Posted April 21, 2017
  • Location Southborough, MA
  • Category Agriculture
  • Job type Internship/Apprentice
Company description Chestnut Hill Farm is a CSA farm on a beautiful gem-of-a-property outside of Framingham, MA. It is a myriad of crop fields, pastures, rolling hills, and woods on 130 acres. Located in Southborough, MA the farm is only a few minutes away from the commuter rail to Boston, Hopkinton State Park and all the hustle and bustle of the growing towns of Westborough, Northborough and Marlborough. As a farm we are continuing to grow and build systems from the ground up as we expand from the ground up to create a community farm with an active CSA, farmstore and engagement program. Under the leadership of a dynamic and experienced grower, the season will provide a unique learning experience for apprentices, as you will be a part of a growing farm operation still in its infancy. We have a small orchard, a few chickens and our farmer has a herd of charismatic dairy goats that rotationally graze around the farm. Our apprenticeship is a well rounded experience for anyone interested in diverse farming opportunities.
